The hub has concentric recesses for balancing weights (22, 24). In the axial direction, these are located in two planes at differing hub (10) radii. Each is open on the same side. The recesses are at the outer circumference of the hub. The hub includes a step (26). Two mutually-concentric groups of recesses (22, 24) are formed at different radii. The recesses are formed into end faces of the step and hub. The rotor is a plastic injection molding comprising hub, blower vanes (12) and recesses. A drive motor is located at the center of the hub.
