A variable valve control system having a swing arm and a hydraulic tappet is provided to allow a locking pin of the swing arm to be operated according to the direction of oil pressure by forming two passages in the swing arm. A variable valve control system comprises a swing arm(60) and a hydraulic tappet(70) coupled to the swing arm. The swing arm is configured to operate in connection with on/off operations of CDA or VVL(Variable Valve Lift). The hydraulic tappet includes a supply passage(72a) and a return passage(72b). The swing arm includes a housing(61) having a mounting space(62) provided therein and an incision portion(67) communicating with the mounting space, a locking pin(63) received in the mounting space of the housing, and an incision receiving portion(66) coupled to the supply and return passages of the hydraulic tappet and having passages(65) formed at both side of the incision receiving portion. |
