A variable type piston cooling jet apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent total oil pressure reduction and oil consumption increase while excluding unnecessary oil injection by using an electronic type control vale which is open/closed according to ECU control signals. A variable type piston cooling jet apparatus for a vehicle comprises an oil jet installed on each cylinder to inject engine oil supplied through an electronic control valve(20) and a cooling jet line into a piston, an ECU outputting control signal, an electronic control valve to selectively open an internal passage connected with the cooling jet line. The electronic control valve includes a housing(21) having an inlet connected to the oil supply line and a plurality of outlet connected to the cooling jet line, a supply control plate(22) formed with a penetration holes to open the outlet, and a step motor(23) to rotate the supply control plate. |
