<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prepare an original in which the preservability and survivability of a paper fingerprint are improved in the case of guaranteeing originality by using the paper fingerprint. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor is provided with: a data acquisition means for acquiring data expressing a paper fingerprint of a paper document; a calculation means for judging whether an area corresponding to a paper fingerprint sampling pattern of a predetermined area exists or not in a region from which the paper fingerprint can be sampled, and when the existence of the area is judged, calculating the existing number of paper fingerprint sampling pattern areas of the predetermined area; a paper fingerprint area judgment means for calculating the intensity of the paper fingerprint of the paper document which is acquired by the data acquisition means on the basis of the number of paper fingerprint sampling pattern areas calculated by the calculation means and outputting the calculated paper fingerprint strength; and a paper fingerprint intensity notification means for notifying a user of the paper fingerprint intensity outputted from the paper fingerprint area judgment means.
