<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top device for a vehicle capable of achieving many functions of an awning bow at a rear end by a simple and inexpensive configuration to reduce costs of the whole device. <P>SOLUTION: The awning bow 5 at the rear end is composed of a first cloth hooking groove 22 and a second cloth hooking groove 23 constituted by grooves having substantially C-shaped cross section and an extruded material provided with a seal attaching part 25. Owing to this configuration, the awning bow 5 at the rear end having many functions can be easily and inexpensively formed with high precision by constituting the awning bow 5 at the rear end by the extruded material and constituting both of the first and second cloth hooking grooves 22, 23 by the grooves having substantially C-shaped cross section. Furthermore, it is possible to realize the awning bow 5 at the rear end having many functions inexpensively as multiplier effect of formation of shapes of cross sections of stiffners 14, 15 attached to end parts of an outer cloth 11 and an inner cloth 12 into substantially circular shape and the simple and inexpensive formation of them and reduce costs of the whole top device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
