<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently extracting useful materials from Ganoderma amboinense by using pressurized hot water consisting of only water. <P>SOLUTION: The extraction of the useful materials such as a β-glucan, is carried out by reacting a solvent 4 of pure water converted to pressurized hot water by pressurizing it to a highly pressurized state of 2.0-5.0 MPa and heating at a boiling point or higher of 155-185°C, with the Ganoderma amboinense placed in an extractor body 2 by contacting them throughout the extraction time. The extracted useful materials such as a β-glucan are stayed under stabilized pressure by using a back pressure valve 9 in the extractor, and are recovered by releasing the pressure when being recovered. Triterpenoids are also efficiently extracted during the extraction time under contacting reaction at 100°C in the stage of rising temperature of the solvent 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
