<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a recording medium restorable even when a recording device fails in recording of the data received from a communication device on the way. <P>SOLUTION: When the recording device is connected, the communication device investigates whether the recording medium owned by the recording device is the recording medium subjected to the normal ending of writing processing or not. In the case of the recording medium not subjected to the normal ending of the writing, the communication device investigates whether the corresponding data exists or not in the data acquired from the recording device connected in the past.
