<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of a circuit scale while raising accuracy of contact determination in a display device equipped with an optical touch panel function. <P>SOLUTION: An area which does not perform coordinate calculation/contact determination among pick-up images according to display images displayed in a pixel part 3 is covered with a median value of gray scale of the picked-up image. Thereby, since influence by the display image can be suppressed, detection of contact coordinate based on the picked-up image can be performed more accurately. Since a size of the pick-up image which performs processing in various signal processings does not change, it is not necessary to change a signal processing procedure according to the pick-up image, and increase of the circuit scale of various signal processing circuits can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
