<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low eddy current vacuum vessel capable of surrounding superconductive magnet and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum vessel assembly (70) includes an inner cylinder (74) formed from materials which do not practically generate eddy current and an outer cylinder (72). The inner cylinder (74) includes a first half (78) and a second half (80) having circular flanges (76) and contacts them. A plurality of metal interfaces (82, 84, 86) is connected to the inner cylinder (74) and the outer cylinder (72). The plurality of metal interfaces (82, 84, 86) joins the first half (78) and the second half (80) of the inner cylinder (74) and also join the inner cylinder (74) to the outer cylinder (72). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
