<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for making a boundary of an exposure area more unremarkable in a captured image by a solid-state imaging device manufactured by a sectional exposure. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic camera comprises the solid-state imaging device and a color interpolation part. In the solid-state imaging device, at least one of a semiconductor layer, a color filter layer, and a micro lens layer is sectionally formed by a plurality of exposures, and also data of the captured image is created from beams of a subject. The color interpolation part performs a color interpolation processing for the data of the captured image input while a color compound is specially sampled. This color interpolation part contains: a similarity determiner for determining a level of a similarity of the captured image in at least two different directions; a similarity corrector for weighting so as to strengthen the similarity in a direction spanning a boundary part at the boundary part of the exposure area of the solid-state imaging device; and an interpolation processor for executing a color interpolation of the data of the captured image based on the color compound of a pixel in a direction in which the similarity is strong. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
