PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can prevent lowered players' interests by making the players enjoy performance images without lowering the pleasure intrinsic to the game machine with game media. SOLUTION: A pachinko game machine 1 includes a body frame with a rectangular outline, a performance display device capable of displaying performance images with the upper half of the body frame supported, a game board which is supported below the performance display device and has a playing area, a starter port arrayed within the playing area, a putout device which putouts a prescribed number of game balls being received at least into the starter slot, a board surface image display means 306 which displays a game board surface pattern on the performance display device 4 using at least an obstacle nail pattern and a starter port pattern and a performance display control means 305 which has a ball pattern display means 307 adapted to make a ball pattern moving on the game board surface pattern displayable from the detection of a ball approach sensor 222 to be displayed on the performance display device 4 being received into the starter slot pattern on the game board surface pattern with the reception of game balls into the starter slot and enables the control of the display of the performance images.
