PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusing unit which can save a material cost, and decrease a fixation property deviation along the lengthwise direction of a heating unit. SOLUTION: The fusing unit of an image forming apparatus includes: a heating lamp 110 having the heating unit 111 and a tubular unit 113 accommodating the heating unit; a heating roller 120 accommodating the heating lamp; and a pressing roller 130 to be pressed toward the side of the heating roller. The tubular unit includes a reflecting film 115 formed on at least one of an external circumferential surface and an internal surface thereof so as to have a different reflectivity along the lengthwise direction of the heating unit. By such a configuration, even when pressure by the pressing roller has a deviation along the lengthwise direction of the heating unit, the deviation of the pressure can be complemented by forming the reflecting film on the tubular unit of the heating lamp, so as to have a different reflectivity along the lengthwise direction. Since the reflecting film is formed on only the necessary part of the tubular unit of the heating lamp to compensate the deviation of the pressure, the increase of the material cost due to the fact that the reflecting film is formed on the unnecessary part of the tubular unit of the heating lamp can be suppressed.
