PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table for examination of a small animal to be placed on an examination table of an animal, so that the small animal is placed in a stable posture without being able to move easily till it is ultrasound-tested and examined. SOLUTION: The table for examination of a small animal comprises a table 1 for examination of a small animal, comprising a top plate, having a recess formed at a center of one longer side, rectangular frame members fixed to the top plate on both sides on the underside surface of the top plate, and leg parts perpendicularly provided from the sides of the shorter sides of the rectangular frame members to form rectangular frame members in parallel to the top plate. A mat 2 for ultrasonic examination, that is a low-resilience foam mat, is also provided in similar size to the top plate of the table 1 for examination of a small animal, with a recess formed at a center of one longer side. It is formed to have such a cross section as to be thin at a center of the shorter sides, and be gradually thicker toward peripheral parts. The recess in the mat 2 for ultrasonic examination is put to the recess in the top plate, so that it is placed on the top plate of the table 1 for examination of a small animal.
