A gibberellin biosynthesis gene isolated from Fusarium proliferatum KGL0401, ggs-2(geranylgeranyldiphosphate synthase), is provided to improve production yield of gibberellins(GAs) including GA1, GA3, GA4, GA7, GA9, GA20 and GA24, so that the gene is useful for mass producing biologically active gibberellins including GA1, GA3, GA4, GA7 or GA9 through culture of Fusarium proliferatum KGL0401. A gibberellin biosynthesis gene ggs-2 is isolated and identified by isolating genomic DNA from Fusarium proliferatum KGL0401 isolated from the ground cherry root through CTAB(cetyltrimethylammonium bromide) method, synthesizing primers based on the isolated genomic DNA, and performing PCR(polymerase chain reaction) of the genomic DNA using the primers, and is applied to gibberellin production, gene probe preparation, antibody production, mutant production and primer preparation.
