An English teaching method is provided to enable a student to easily learn English by forming a complex sentence by coupling basic sentences with each other. It is taught that a basic English sentence is composed of a subject, an object, and a target. A preposition plus noun phrase, a to plus verb phrase, a that plus sentence phrase, an action plus -ing phrase and a past participle of the action phrase are added to the basic sentence, such that an extended sentence is completed. Meanings of the preposition, the infinitive, that, and -ing are taught.
