A plasma display panel is provided to optimize a driving characteristic by equalizing a firing voltage between a scan electrode and a sustain electrode in a discharge cell corresponding to R, G, or B phosphors. A plasma display panel includes scan electrodes and sustain electrodes, data electrodes(223) crossing the scan electrodes and sustain electrodes to define plural discharge cells, and phosphor of plural colors formed on the discharge cells. A distance between the scan electrode and the sustain electrode in the discharge cell corresponding to at least one phosphor is different from that between the scan electrode and the sustain electrode in the discharge cell corresponding to other phosphors.
