<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell equipped with a cell stack in which a plurality of hollow type cells are connected in parallel, in which a current is extracted from the respective hollow type cells efficiently, and in which a power generating efficiency of the fuel cell can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: This is the fuel cell equipped with the cell stack comprising parallelly connected two or more hollow type cells which each comprises a pair of electrodes installed at the inner face and the outer face of a hollow electrolyte membrane, and an interior current collecting material and an exterior current collecting material connected respectively to the pair of electrodes, and at least one end part of which is opened. This is the fuel cell in which a bundle unit 8 is formed in the way two or more of the hollow type cells are bound and tied by at least one conductive wire material which is the exterior current collecting material, in which at least one of the hollow type cells constituting the bundle unit is a restoring hollow type cell having elasticity to generate a restoring force of deformation from the original first shape to the second shape and returning to the first shape when a pressing force is loaded from the exterior, and which retains the second shape by a tightening force of the conductive wire material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
