<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out stable formation of a latent image by executing transmission and reception of video data by an appropriate timing in a technique forming the image using a line head. <P>SOLUTION: In the technique for forming an electrostatic latent image on a photo-receptor surface by the line head, a main controller and a head controller are provided. The main controller generates the video data by subjecting an image signal to signal processing, and outputs the video data as a serial signal with a transmission clock superposed thereon when triggered by a data request signal. The head controller restores the transmission clock superposed on the video data output from the main controller, as a recovery clock. The head controller generates a data request on the basis of the recovery clock and outputs the data request signal by a timing synchronous with the transmission clock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
