摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical method for measuring a two-dimensional concentration distribution of a chemical substance emitted by a cell, and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: In the optical apparatus, an enzyme is immobilized on an interface area capable of generating evanescent light, and a fluorescent substance is formed under an action of the enzyme by making the chemical substance react with an origin fluorescent substance under the action of the enzyme, and fluorescence resulting from the fluorescent substance excited by the evanescent light is detected, whereby the two-dimensional concentration distribution of the chemical substance emitted by the cell is measured.
