PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine properly existence of a stay article in order to acquire more excellent yield than hitherto. SOLUTION: A control device 30 combines variously weight measured values by each weighing apparatus 70, etc., and thereby selects the optimum combination most similar to a target weight, wherein the total weight of combination is within a standard tolerance determined based on the target weight. In this case, the number of times of a stay article determination according to each weight measured value is set in each weighing apparatus 70. When the number of times wherein the optimum combination is selected after articles are placed, so to speak, the number of selection waiting times, reaches the number of times of the stay article determination relative to some weighing apparatus 70, it is determined that articles placed on the weighing apparatus 70 are stay articles. When the stay articles are generated, the control device 30 takes a special measure in order to remove the stay articles early from the weighing apparatus 70.
