PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a stator core capable of integrating a plurality of stator core pieces with a small number of parts. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method for a stator core, an outer circumferential part is formed with recessed parts 3 opening in the outer circumferential direction and in the radial direction and a ring-shaped stator core piece 2 having projected parts 3a integrated with the stator core piece 2 which project from the recessed parts 3. In a state in which the plurality of stator core pieces 2 is laminated, the projected parts 3a of the stator core pieces 2 adjacent each other in the laminated direction are welded, thereby integrating the plurality of stator core pieces 2 to manufacture a stator core.
