METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXTRACTING REGION BECOMING JUDGE TARGET OF CRYSTALLIZED STATE FROM ELECTRONIC IMAGE OF PROTEIN SOLUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically extract a region serving as the judge target of a crystallized state from the electronic image of a protein solution. SOLUTION: This method for extracting the region becoming the judge target of the crystallized state from the electronic image of the protein solution includes an original image acquiring step for acquiring the electronic image of the protein solution to obtain an original image, the chroma calculation step of calculating the chroma of each pixel in the original image, the coordinates determining step of scanning the original image by each circle having a predetermined range of a radius and calculating coordinates becoming minimum in the chroma dispersion value in each circle region and the radius determining step of changing the radius of a circle and calculating a radius becoming maximum in the change ratio of the minimum chroma dispersion value in each circle region.
