This invention is directed to a coating composition comprising a film forming binder, one or more pigments, and a graft copolymer suitable for use as a pigment dispersant for forming dispersion of said pigments in said coating composition, wherein said graft copolymer comprises a polymeric backbone and macromonomer side chains attached to the polymeric backbone, and an acetoacetyl amine pigment anchoring group attached to the polymeric backbone, the side chains or both the polymeric backbone and the side chains. The coating composition can further comprise a quaternary ammonium pigment anchoring group attached to the polymeric backbone of the graft copolymer. |
