The channel support plate on one insertion end face (6) has an insertion region (9) which is divided into an inlet section (7) and an outlet section (8) and is for inserting into the heat exchanger which is divided into adjacently arranged inlet tank and outlet tank. On the other end face (10) there is a free region (11).
