A method for manufacturing soil blocks using polymers is provided to impart strength, durability, and water resistance to soil blocks without doing damage to the essence of soils. A method for manufacturing soil blocks using polymer includes the steps of: mixing stearic acid with sodium hydroxide and water, and boiling the mixture to make a metallic soap; heating poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) and pine resin to obtain a liquefied material, adding the metallic soap to the liquefied material, boiling and stirring the admixture to make a metallic soap combination; boiling polyvinylalcohol and water to obtain a transparent liquid, adding the transparent liquid to the metallic soap combination, and stirring the admixture to make a semi-solid metallic soap compound; blending loess soil with the semi-solid metallic soap compound in a predetermined ratio, kneading the blending, and pressing the kneaded material into a soil block; and drying the soil block at ambient temperature. Further, the loess soil and the semi-solid metallic soap compound are blent in a ratio of 10:1.
