A cooler for chemicals is provided to increase cooling efficiency by direct contact between refrigerant pipes and chemicals and to prevent corrosion caused by the chemicals by coating layers, thereby extending the lifespan of the cooler. A cooler for chemicals includes a cylindrical housing(30) formed with an inlet(31) and an outlet(32) with a distance from each other and a chamber(33) for circulating water or fluid inside. Refrigerant pipes(34) penetrate blocking plates(36) coupled at both ends of the housing to pass through the housing. An inner wall of the housing and an outer peripheral surface of the refrigerant pipe are formed with coating layers(35) of acid-resistant and alkali-resistant materials such as fluororesin for preventing the corrosion of the housing and the refrigerant pipes by the water or chemicals. The coating layer is formed on the coupling parts between the refrigerant pipes and the blocking plates.
