A sliding module of a sliding type portable terminal is provided to configure a module which opens/closes by using repulsive forces generated when the same polarities of permanent magnets are adjacent together on a sliding type housing, thereby improving product reliability, consequently a sliding opening/closing action is improved. A module(40) consists of a module housing(41), the first push rod, and the second push rod(43). The first plural permanent magnets(41a) are comprised in the module housing to match with the second plural permanent magnets(42a,43a). The first and second push rods are equipped with the second permanet magnets to mutually match with the first permanent magnets, and are combined to do sliding motion by using repulsive forces of the first and second permanent magnets on the module housing. At least one guide groove(44) is formed at the module housing, and the first permanent magnets are embedded in the guide groove.
