A swirl control apparatus for a cylinder head is provided to obtain the required swirl strength without losing flow rate of air by installing a device capable of changing value of chamfer offset. A swirl control apparatus for a cylinder head(10) comprises a regulator plate(20) mounted on the bottom of the cylinder head capable of performing a straight line motion, and a linear motor(50). The regulator plate controls chamfer offset value of a pair of intake ports(30). The linear motor is connected to one side of the regulator plate to move the regulator plate based on the vehicle traveling speed. The regulator plate is provided with an opening where the intake ports are positioned. The opening is formed with a chamfer offset regulator(60) at the inside thereof, which controls the chamfer offset value of the intake ports.
