<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a conventional illumination-type display device has deficiency of the quantity of light and unevenness in the brightness, and is large in size, heavy, and is high in cost. <P>SOLUTION: A display plate for an illumination-type display device has a sign displayed on the top surface of a light-transmissive substrate and a light-reflecting portion provided on the reverse surface, the light-reflecting portion being formed on the reverse surface, excluding the sign portion on the top surface. Furthermore, the illumination-type display device has a light-reflecting surface or a light-reflecting portion (hereinafter to be referred to as "a light-reflecting surface etc.") of another display plate on the reverse surface side of the display plate across a projection space, and is provided with a light source outside the projection space so that light irradiating the light-reflecting portion on the reverse surface of the display plate is reflected by the light-reflecting surface etc., and is returned to and reflected by the reverse surface side of the display plate by the light-reflecting surface etc., so as to light the sign of the display plate. The illumination-type display device can be such that the display plate, the light source, and a scattering plate are fitted to frame into desired shapes as independent types, or are incorporated inside members, such as a door and a wall in the inside or on the outside of a building, to be member-built-in types. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
