PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash fixing device with simple constitution to surely remove paper left inside, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the flash fixing device. SOLUTION: Disclosed are the flash fixing device including a sheet conveyance path 17 where a continuous sheet 2 is conveyed in a fixed direction, a flash fixing unit 13B which fixes a toner image by irradiating the surface of the conveyance sheet 2, conveyed on the sheet conveyance path 17, where the toner image is formed by a flash lamp 14, and a cooling blower 20 and an air current injection hole 23 which discharge a sheet left on the sheet conveyance path 17 to a downstream side by generating an air current in the conveyance direction of the form between the flash fixing unit 13B and sheet conveyance path 17; and the image forming apparatus equipped with the flash fixing device.
