PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid passage sealing method for micro fluidic chips that blocks the outlet and the inlet of a fluid passage by a filling material without contacting micro fluid chips, and obtains a precise and reliable analytical result at a low cost in a short time with neither contamination nor handling troubles, and a device therefor. SOLUTION: The fluid passage sealing device 50 for micro fluidic chips 100 with a fluid processing section along the fluid passage arranged in a substrate 21, comprises a filling material dropping means 60 that blocks the fluid passage by dropping the filling material 121 to the outlet and the inlet PT of the fluid passage, and an activation energy irradiating means 70 that emits activation energy towards a rigid material 121 dropped to the outlets and the inlet PT of the fluid passage.
