PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, in a bed having a slide part for moving a part of a mat, the slide part moves in either direction of the left or the right, however, the slide part is constantly connected to a bed body and often obstructs work of a caregiver, the slide part moves to the left/right alone, and yet the installation place of the bed is restricted thereby. SOLUTION: This bed is characterized in that a bed body is divided into an upper bed and a lower bed, the both upper/lower beds have independent frames for mounting mattresses and leg parts respectively, the both beds can move independently in optional directions and constituted to be separated and connected by connection structures provided in the frames, a sink is provided from the rear part end of the frame of the upper bed over a prescribed width to be positioned under the mattress, knee lift boards of a prescribed length are disposed from the both sides of the bed in parts near the back sides of the both knees of a user of the upper bed with their tips facing to each other in the width direction of the bed, and the respective knee lift boards are cantileveredly connected to a driving mechanism attached to the upper bed for vertically moving the respective knee lift boards.
