Production of a meal product from lupine containing proteins in native form with an internal fiber content of maximally 20 wt.%, comprises grinding the raw material containing lupine and subsequently separating a coarse fraction according to the grain size by wind screening, where the components of the preparation are used in a dry form. Independent claims are included for: (1) a meal product from lupine comprising at least 55 wt.% of the native protein and maximum 20 wt.% of internal fibers; and (2) a probiotic food comprising the meal product as a dietary supplement agent.
