A coating method is provided to prevent the spot with a stripe shape due to the scan direction when coating the coating solution on the surface of a coated body. A coating solution(2) filled in a coating solution supply tank(3) is guided by a supply pump(4) to a manifold(12) of a coating die(10). The coating solution is injected from an injection hole(11) with a slit shape installed at the top surface of a nozzle member in the coating die. The amount of the coating solution injected from the injection hole is controlled by a control device(5). After injecting the coating solution, when the coating solution is coated on the surface of a coated body(1) with a plate shape, the amount of the coating solution is controlled at the position away from the surface of the coated body and then the amount of coating solution corresponding to the surface tension is injected on the top surface of the coating die. Thereafter, the injection of the coating solution is stopped and the coating solution is maintained on the top surface of the coating die. |
