A piston is provided to prevent oil wasting and leakage of a blow-by gas by contacting the piston more closely to an inner wall of a cylinder liner. A piston(1) includes pressing rings(2), an oil ring(3), and a skirt(4). The pressing rings and the oil ring are inserted in an upper part of the piston. The skirt is formed on a lower part of the piston and includes a mounting hole(9) and an elastic member. The elastic member is formed on the mounting hole and prevents slap movement of the piston that the skirt collides with an inner wall of a cylinder liner while the piston reciprocates in the cylinder liner and includes a steel ball(6) and a spring(7). The steel ball is mounted on the mounting hole. The spring elastically supports the steel ball pushing outward from the piston. |
