A device for varying stiffness of a stabilizer bar for a vehicle is provided to actively change a supporting point between two ends of the stabilizer bar and a stabilizer bar bush, thereby capable of restricting different kinds of rolling of the vehicle. A device for varying stiffness of a stabilizer bar for a vehicle comprises a guide hole(21), an input unit(50), an inner pipe member(70), an actuator(80), and a controller(90). The slit-shaped guide hole is penetrated between two ends of the stabilizer bar and a stabilizer bar bush(20). The input unit senses roll of the vehicle when driving or cornering the vehicle. The inner pipe member is aligned in the stabilizer bar along longitudinal direction. One end of the inner pipe member directing an end of the stabilizer bar is penetrated with the guide hole and assembled to the stabilizer bar. The actuator is fixed in the stabilizer bar and integrally assembled to the other end of the inner pipe member where an assembling pin member(61) is not penetrated. The actuator rectilinearly moves the inner pipe member in accordance with length. The controller receives a signal from the input unit, judges roll side of the vehicle and controlling the actuator in accordance with roll size. |
