A device for supporting a sliding door of a vehicle is provided to firmly fix the sliding door to a vehicle body by protruding a door pole to the outside of the sliding door when the sliding door is closed. A device for supporting a sliding door of a vehicle comprises a body(10), a door pole(20), an actuator(30), and a switch(140). The body is installed at one surface of the sliding door, and has an insert hole at a front surface. The door pole is inserted to the insert hole. The actuator is placed in the body, and protrudes the door pole from one surface of the sliding door by receiving electrical energy. The switch is connected with the power, and transfers electrical energy to the actuator when the sliding door is closed.
