Provided is a dynamic image encoding method not causing a reproduction in terruption without increasing the processing load during reproduction. The d ynamic image encoding method encodes a video stream containing a first dynam ic image and a second dynamic image for overlaying the first dynamic image. The method includes: steps (S5301 to S5303) for deciding a continuous produc tion section which is a set of partial sections in a video stream to be cont inuously reproduced; a step (S5304) for encoding the first and the second dy namic image in the partial sections constituting the continuous reproduction section so as to satisfy the restriction that the threshold value used for a transparent process by a luminance key in the overlay is not modified; and a step (S5305) for creating management information containing flag informat ion indicating that the threshold value is fixed in the continuous reproduct ion section.
