PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the forgery of a label used for discrimination between a genuine product and a non-genuine product hard.

SOLUTION: The layered body 10 for discrimination comprises: a reflection type polarization layer 11 made by alternately laminating a first light transmissive layer and a second light transmissive layer having a different optical characteristic from that of the first light transmissive layer each of which is birefringent, and including first and second parts arranged side by side in the in-plain direction; and a birefringent layer 12 which is located on the front side of the polarization layer 11 and faces the polarization layer 11 only on a position of the first part.
