<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of transmitting data such as game result information and interim information between a personal digital assistant and a fixed video game machine with a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: This game system is characterized in that the personal digital assistant is installed with a game program for transmitting the game data from the personal digital assistant 2 or 3 to the fixed video game machine 1 and has a means, when the game is interrupted, converting the game data into two-dimensional codes 220 and 380 and displaying them; and the fixed video game machine has a camera 17a for capturing the two-dimensional codes displayed on a display device of the personal digital assistant, and a means for continuously executing the game based on the game data acquired by decoding the two-dimensional codes captured by the camera.
