<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable printing of a regenerated image in an information regenerating unit, without having to connect a dedicated printing unit. <P>SOLUTION: In addition to video contents, at least printing application data for printing images formed by these video contents are recorded to a recording medium. An information regeneration unit includes a detector for reading both the video contents and the printing application data from the recording medium; an application execution unit for executing the printing application, from the readout print application information and for specifying the images to be printed; a printer driver for converting the specified image to printable signals; and a print data output unit for outputting the converted printable data as printing data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
