PAPER FEED DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed device or an image forming device with it for changing a threshold value of an already registered paper size or a threshold value of a new paper size to be registered and registering a paper size desired by a user.

SOLUTION: The paper feed device and the image forming device are provided with a memory means 005 for storing a paper size and a threshold value of transfer paper 007 in advance, a size detecting means 002 for measuring the paper size of loaded transfer paper 007 and outputting a range of a predetermined threshold value for the paper size based on the threshold value and a registration control means 004 for receiving an instruction of new paper size registration, comparing a range of the new paper size and its threshold value and a range of the already registered paper size and its threshold value, changing the range of the threshold value if one of the paper sizes is included in the range of the other paper size threshold, and then registering the new paper size and its threshold value by storing them in the memory means.
