PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complete quickly data transmission/reception, even if data are discarded during transmission. SOLUTION: In a storage 20 which is a transmission source, at least one piece of redundant data for error correction are generated from transmitted original data. The storage 20 transmits the original data and the redundant data by different transmission unit. The storage 20 is equipped with a redundancy part for duplicating data transmitted to another storage 21, and a communication part for transmitting the original data and the redundant data individually to the storage 21.
