PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device wherein increase of the number of components and assembling steps is suppressed/reduced and cost reduction is attained. SOLUTION: A backlight part 2 wherein a scanning mechanism can function as a single body is disposed coordinately with a liquid crystal display part and both are synchronized with each other to obtain a display image. The backlight part 2 has a plurality of scanning electrode groups and light emitting layer groups having different light emission colors, and the light emission colors are spatially separated in the surface of a backlight while scanning is performed as a unit of a plurality of light emitting layers having different light emission colors.
