PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rockably support a swing arm with a low-torque and low-torque fluctuations, which is easily assembled with a simple structure and prevents the generation of the lubricant shortage with an increase of oil filling volume. SOLUTION: The bearing device 1 rockably supports the swing arm 2 used for a magnetic disk unit around an input shaft 4, and is provided with: a rotary raceway plate 6 having a first circular raceway 11 fixed by the swing arm 2; and multiple step thrust bearing parts 20 provided with a second circular raceway 10 arranged with a space in an axial direction from the rotary raceway plate 6, a fixed raceway plate 5 fixed by the shaft 4, and a plurality of rolling elements 7 pinched between the two circular raceways 10, 11. The bearing device 1 is also provided with the raceway surfaces of the circular raceways 10, 11 and the rolling elements 7 which respectively contact with each other at a plurality of contact points.
