PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microarray measuring instrument capable of calculating the presence ratio of a biomolecule analyzed even between different microarrays, and a microarray measuring method. SOLUTION: The microarray measuring instrument includes a microarray having a plurality of sample spots, to which a sample specimen having emission properties is fixed, and reference spots to which a reference specimen having the same emission properties as the sample specimen is fixed, an imaging part for imaging the microarray to output digital image data at a definite interval, a spot extraction part for extracting a plurality of the sample spots and reference spots from the digital image data, a brightness value cumulation part for cumulating and adding the brightness values of a plurality of the sample spots and reference spots outputted from the spot extraction part to output a cumulated brightness value and an exposure control part for controlling the exposure time of an imaging element and a first memory on the basis of the first memory for successively storing the cumulated brightness value and the cumulated brightness value of the reference spots.
