PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe fitting for a branch member capable of preventing a fluid pipe from being disconnected without being affected by a variation in hydraulic pressure. SOLUTION: This pipe fitting for the branch member comprises a socket pipe 15 having a socket 12 forming the branch member branched from the fluid pipe and connected, a spigot pipe 1 having a spigot 2 with an insertion part 5 inserted by a predetermined length into the socket 12, and a ring seal member 9 sealing watertight the gap 8 between the outer surface of the insertion part 5 of the spigot 2 and the inner surface of the socket 12 along the circumferential direction. A radially swelling socket swelled part 13 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the end part of the socket 12 along the circumferential direction. A radially swelling spigot swelled part 3 is formed on the outer peripheral surface the spigot 2 excluding the insertion part 5 along the circumferential direction. An annular cover ring 40 in which the socket swelled part 13 and the spigot swelled part 3 are so stored is attached to the outer peripheries of both swelled parts 13, 3 as to restrain the relative movements of the socket 12 and the spigot 2 in the axial direction.
