PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet device capable of ensuring a designed life of a primary battery and using generated electric power efficiently even in various use environments. SOLUTION: This faucet device has an electric power generating means, the primary battery connected electrically with the electric power generating means in parallel, a capacitor charged by outputs of the electric power generating means or the primary battery, a charging control means provided between the primary battery and the capacitor in series to control charging to the capacitor from the primary battery by turning it on or off, a boosting means for boosting a voltage of the capacitor, and a faucet control means for controlling the charging control means. The faucet control means is provided with a voltage detection means operated by electricity fed from the boosting means or the primary battery to detect a voltage of the capacitor and controls the charging control means by turning it off when an output of the voltage detection means reaches a first threshold voltage exceeding the lowest voltage enabling the boosting operation of the boosting means.
