The invention relates to a sound insulation device for reducing the noise of an injector, characterised in that it comprises a bell (1) with a wall defining a housing for encapsulating an injector (2), means for attaching the bell (1) and co-operating with a cylinder head (3), first sealing means (4) for sealing the bell (1) on the cylinder head (3), and pumping means (5) for pumping the air in the housing in order to create at least a partial vacuum. The invention also relates to an engine provided with said device.
