Carboxyethyl(alkyl)phosphinic acid-alkylester salts (I) are new. Carboxyethyl(alkyl)phosphinic acid-alkylester salts of formula (R 1>-P(=O)(OX)-CH 2-CH 2-CO 2R 2>) (I) are new. R 1>, R 2>1-20C alkyl, 2-20C alkenyl, 1-20C alkinyl and/or 6-20C aralkyl; and X : alkali metal or an element of group 2-8 main and subgroups. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparations of (I); (2) a flame-resistant thermoplastic polymer molding material containing 0.5-45 wt.% of (I); and 0.5-99.5 wt.% of thermoplastic polymer or its mixture; (3) a flame-resistant thermosetting mass, comprising 0.1-45 wt.% of (I), 40-89.9 wt.% of unsaturated polyester, and 10-60 wt.% of vinyl monomer; (4) preparation of flame-resistant polymer molding materials, comprising mixing (I) with polymer granulates and additives in a double screw-type extruding machine at 170[deg] C (polystyrene), 270[deg] C (polyethylene terephthalate), 230-260[deg] C (polybutylene terephthalate), 260[deg] C (polyamide 6) and/or 260-280[deg] C (polyamide 6,6), passing the homogenized polymer in water bath for cooling, granulating and drying to obtain flame-resistant polymer molding materials having a residual moisture content of 0.05-5 wt.%, preferably 0.1-1 wt.%; (5) flame-resistant molding material, comprising 0.5-50 wt.% of (I), 5-99.5 wt.% of epoxide resin, and 0-20 wt.% of a hardener; (6) a mixture comprising 0.1-99.9 wt.% of (I) and 0.1-99.9 wt.% of carboxylethyl(alkyl)phosphinic acid-alkyl ester salt of formula (R 1>-P(=O)(OR 2>)-CH 2-CH 2-CO 2X); and (7) preparing flame-resistant polymer molded articles, comprising reacting the flame-resistant molding material or its mixtures in the form of a flame-resistant molding material in a jet molding machine at mass temperatures of 200-250[deg] C with polystyrene, 200-300[deg] C with polypropylene, 250-290[deg] C with polyethylene terephthalate, 230-270[deg] C with polybutylene terephthalate, 260-290[deg] C with polyamide 6, 260-290[deg] C with polyamide 6,6 or 280-320[deg] C with polycarbonate to polymer molded articles.
|
